Harmonypaw flicked her ears looking up to the sky. She missed the stars, she missed sark blackness the night provided. She missed the closeness that gave her with Starclan. She sighed and continued dragging the moss from the elders den. She had spent all afternoon cleaning the dens, fetching new moss for the elders, queens, and medicine den. As she pulled the moss out through the dirtplace tunnel and tossed it away she sighed and looked up at the fading sun. It was almost dusk, her favorite time of day. She smiled and walked calmly back into the clearing. She looked around and flicked her ears trying to find the slightest sound of life in the clearing. She needed to go out on patrol, go hunting, do something. There was so much to do to help the clan. So much that needed done al the time. And she was happy to do it, most of the time. She looked at the Freshkill pile. It seemed as if a patrol had just returned. She walked over and picked up a meager vole from the pile feeling slightly guilty all she had done was clean dens and pick ticks off elders. She hadn't really contributed to the pile and she felt a little guilty. She flicked her ears again and lay down to eat her meal. She bowed her head and thanked starclan for her meal. As she ate she let her mind begin to wander. She thought about what her life here in the clan was like. She was happy here, she was glad to be an apprentice in Thunderclan but she wanted more...there was something she was searching for that she couldn't figure out. Maybe when she became a warrior she would be able to set aside that desire...perhaps that was her desire. She shook the thoughts from her head and finished her vole. She sat up and began to clean herself starting with her face and making her way down to her luxurious tail. Waiting for something to happen. Someone to give her something to do.

It was dusk. The sun was slowly setting from the WindClan territory to the west and the moon was beginning to make its appearance in the purplish sky, bringing along the StarClan warriors in Silverpelt with it. Although it was a sign of gloom to most cats, Ashpaw liked this time of day more than the morning. Why? It was the only time in the day where his training with his mentor about battling and stuff ends. He can finally sit back and relax in the camp, that is, if his mentor had not left him with tasks or chores a regular apprentice would need to do. Fortunately, his mentor didn’t.
Strutting back to camp and into the apprentice’s den, Ashpaw felt like his bones had not been stretched like that his whole life. After the day’s worth of training, the brown apprentice’s body yelled for him to succumb to the temptation of sleeping for an entire day, or at least rest his tired and sore muscles for a while. All of those said things are, of course, just opinions from the tabby apprentice. Of all the current occupants of the apprentice’s den, Ashpaw could be the one who hangs around it most of the time, mainly sleeping the day away.
“Would you like to give some entrance for those who want to enter the den?”
A sarcastic meow came from Ashpaw as he faced another she-cat apprentice who, more or less, had her tongue scrape through her calico pelt all the way to the fluffy tail she owns. Ashpaw wasn’t the type of cat to torment someone younger and smaller than he is but if it works on his favour, he’ll probably do it just so to make his life more comfortable. After all, what the tom wanted all along was to sleep right away as he reached the camp. Harmonypaw was in the middle of him and his nest. The brown apprentice would march to their den even if it meant bowling her away.

Harmonypaw And I don't want to mess this thing up I don't want to push too far As she continued to groom her tail she was unable to scent the tom coming up to the apprentices den. She saw him sitting there staring at her as she finished grooming and let her tail sweep back behind her. She tilted her head slightly her pretty hazel eyes looking over the apprentice before her trying to remember his name, his personality, everything she could about him. His grey tabby pelt and sarcastic voice gave him away as soon as he spoke. Ashpaw...no family...tough mentor. She reminded herself of what she knew, because she didn't want to make any mistakes when and if she spoke. She flicked her ears and took her time answering, not because she was being rude, but because that's just how she was. She needed to be sure of what she wanted to say before she even thought of saying something at all.
He looked tired, like he'd actually been out training all day. She smiled brightly and decided that kindness was the best way to get through to him. Something about him intrigued her. She wanted to know him better, there seemed to be some hidden guarded part of him that he held so close that he wouldn't let anyone get close to it. This caught her interest. "I'd be glad to, if that someone were to ask politely." She blinked her eyes and they spoke for her. seeming to ask him to stay and talk with her, to spend a little time with someone other than himself. She looked up to the stars and smiled again, a bright and inviting smile. "Starclan is beautiful tonight. Almost like we could leap into their forest's." She dropped her gaze and found his eyes again "Wouldn't you say Ashpaw?" She had yet to move out of his way, forcing him either to ask her politely to move, bowl her over, or sit and join her.

DANCINGBREEZE
---------------------------------------- ' "life's too short to be sitting around miserable" --rihanna
Dancingbreeze trotted back into the ThunderClan camp, two mice dangling from her mouth. Chin lifted high with pride, stance tall and haughty, heads turned to stare as the voluptous ThunderClan she-cat pranced to the fresh-kill pile and set her caught prey down with a righteous smirk on her face. It's been a long day, She thought to herself, casting a quick glance around the camp. Dusk was here, and cats were sleepily sharing tongues before heading back to their respective nests to rest. There seemed to be nobody to talk to, nobody to pester. I guess i'll have to wait until tomorrow to have some fun. Dancingbreeze didn't care. She believed that to live each day to its fullest, one day at a time. She snatched a fat vole from the pile and padded away slowly, heading toward a particular shady looking spot on the camp's outskirts. The honey-brown warrior was about sit down and eat when she spotted a familiar calico sitting in front of the apprentice's den, grooming herself. A small smile crossed Dancingbreeze's face. Harmonypaw. She recognized the pretty she-apprentice immediately. Harmonypaw was one of the few ThunderClan cats that Dancingbreeze didn't hate or mock, because she was sweet and pretty and seemed to like Dancingbreeze as a sister. And Dancingbreeze had always wanted a little sister. So recently, she'd gotten closer to the young she-cat, and was proud of herself for finally acquiring a...friend, she supposed. Dancingbreeze, after a moment of hesitation, padded over to join Harmonypaw, but realized that another tom had gotten there first. She struggled to place a name to the cat's appearance, but it took a whle for her to remember: it was Ashpaw, who was one of Harmonypaw's fellow apprentices. Immediately, her subconscious fired gossipy thoughts: Brown tabby tom, not the best looking but not that bad. Too young for me. Mom dead, dad ditched the Clan. Dancingbreeze had a vague idea of who Ashpaw's mother, Dawnwhisker was; a dim picture came in her mind. Sympathy poked at her gut, but only for a moment, because all pitying thoughts for him vanished when he spoke. 'Would you like to give some entrance to those who want to enter the den?'Wait, what?! Dancingbreeze stopped abruptly mid-step. What did he say to Harmonypaw? Her bright green eyes flicked over to the other apprentice, who seemed to be taking Ashpaw's rudeness in stride, deciding to ramble on about StarClan instead. Dancingbreeze's lips pursed in frustration: if she had been in Harmonypaw's sitaution, she would have blown her top. Wait, no. She would have flirted with him. Hello, older tom. Okay, stop. Focus. Dancingbreeze decided that emergency intervention was necessary: Ashpaw was not going to treat Harmonypaw like that. She strode forward and planted herself next to the calico, her mouth tight as she addressed Ashpaw. "Hi, there," She said in an angry voice she usually reserved for toms that she wanted to leave her alone. "May I so inquire to ask why you have such a constipated expression slapped on your face?" Actually, he didn't look constipated. More like really tired. But that was no excuse for treating a cat so! (Dancingbreeze was really into chivalry.) She kept her green gaze on the tom, but tilted her head in brief greeting to Harmonypaw. OOC: As promised, I posted, Rumor! Sorry that it was pretty crappy, I didn't have much to work on. ^^ [/blockquote]

Ashpaw rolled his eyes on Harmonypaw’s too dramatic comment. She wanted him to ask politely, even if his point is already proven. Repetition of words is unnecessary, especially if you’re talking to an introverted cat like Ashpaw. Another thing that didn’t get clearly to Ashpaw’s head is the fact that Harmonypaw looks like she has been enjoying on staring at those “oh so beautiful” stars rather than sleeping like what he had always wanted to do all the time. Who cares if the night looks so beautiful? Hell, if you want I’d even be happy to help you jump over the moon! Ashpaw sighed. Being irritated would only make him more tired.
The tom opened his mouth and was about to “ask politely” for Harmonypaw to move away from his path when another she-cat strutted in the scene. She was pretty and popular, yes, but Ashpaw doesn’t know what the other warriors like about Dancingbreeze. With a bad personality matching her weird name, she definitely didn’t attract Ashpaw. With Dancingbreeze’s unsolicited comments, Ashpaw’s anger sparked more than what he had originally with. Not only that, but also the she-cat warrior’s flare in her tone suggests that it was Ashpaw who had done wrong. Her comment doesn’t even match with what we were debating on!
“If I may ask you, why do toms follow you around like a piece of fresh-kill?” Although Ashpaw asked with such innocent and interrogative tone, he followed it with a rude remark. “Oh, right! I can’t see the difference between you and that fat and ugly vole over there at the fresh-kill pile.” He made an emphasis on the words fat and ugly, knowing that those may hurt the flirty she-cat’s feelings. Ashpaw quickly snapped back to normal as of teasing Dancingbreeze. He wasn’t as aggressive as that when it comes to other cats, but perhaps his emotions clouded him for a while. He didn’t bother to apologize, though.
“If you excuse me, I’ll get going now.” Seeing that Harmonypaw wouldn’t budge even after insulting her friend, Ashpaw dragged her away from the apprentice’s den’s entrance with her scruff (he’s bigger and stronger than her, right?) and trotted his way to his nest. He wasn’t sure if the two would follow him, though, but knowing Dancingbreeze’s strong personality, she wouldn’t probably forgive him for saying that in her face. Oh well. At least I can finally reach the comfort of my nest now.

Harmonypaw The time has come to let the past be history She turned her attention to Dancingbreeze as she came onto the scene and her eyes widened at the she-cats words. She was speechless, and slightly outraged. Her eyes flashed with anger and embarrassment. But on the other hand she couldn't believe that someone had stood up for her, albeit unwarranted. She flicked her tail and turned to Ashpaw, but he was already speaking. Her eyes widened as the scene before her erupted and changed course faster than a rabbit on the Windclan moor. She blinked trying to catch up to the scene around her. She had wanted to get to know the tom. there was something about him that intrigued her, and she had wanted to start bulding a friendship with him. Dancingbreeze had taken her under her wing a few moons ago, and the two had become like sisters.
Suddenly she felt air beneath her paws. She was being swept aside. There was a pain in her scruff as she was roughly pulled to the side. She landed with a thud to the ground and flicked her ears. She stood her claws scraping the ground ready to fight the assailant, but all she saw was Ashpaw walking wearily into the den. She tilted her head and looked at Dancingbreeze, her eyes flashed with amusement and embarassment for a moment before returning to their natural curious tone. She flicked her tail and looked up at Dancingbreeze. "Thanks for standing up for me." She mewed softly padding back toward the den to sit beside her friend. She looked into the den and calsulated about where Ashpaw was laying in his sleeping den. She was debating being kind and letting him sleep, or being slightly malicious and talking loud enough to keep him awake. She smiled lightly to herself shaking her head. "Perhaps some cats work to hard on perfecting their nests for us to disturb them from using them to their full potential. She looked at Dancingbreeze and wondered if Ashpaw was even awake to hear her. She knew he had been tired, he HAD been training all day. She watched Dancingbreeze carefully wondering how she would react to her little sister being dragged about by a tom cat. This would not end well for Ashpaw. Yeah if we could just start talkin' OOC: uhoh... this may not end well for Ashpaw and Harmonypaw lol =) (Lyrics credit to Bruce Springsteen "Let's be friends")

DANCINGBREEZE
---------------------------------------- ' "people gonna talk whether you doing bad or good, yeah" --rihanna
Whoa. Whoa. Was Dancingbreeze dreaming, or did Ashpaw just... make fun of her? And was no comeback really coming to her mind? The warrior's mouth dropped open in shock, then closed. And now...what was he doing? Wait. Was he really? Was he seriously dragging Harmonypaw away from the den entrance?!?!Oh. My. StarClan. He did not just do that! Anger pulsed through Dancingbreeze, hot as lightning. "Ashpaw!" She gasped, so loudly that cats turned to glance irritably at her (Except for a few toms, who just gazed at her with concern.) Before she could do something stupid, though, like charge into the den and get all angrily dramatic at Ashpaw, Harmonypaw spoke. 'Thanks for standing up for me.'Dancingbreeze exhaled loudly and let her fur (woah, it really had been bristling) lie flat. "No problem, Harmonypaw," She answered with a small, apologetic smile of her own. "I kind of overreacted, though. Oops." The golden she-cat shook her head, flicking her ears awkwardly. Then Harmonypaw's voice rose in sound. Dancingbreeze blinked. Won't that just annoy Ashpaw more--oh. "I agree," She responded, matching Harmonypaw's tone with a mischevious smile. "I really do." Ashpaw grumbled, not being allowed to sleep by the two noisy she-cats outside the apprentice’s den. He was awake since the start of the dawn patrol and his last break from his never-ending training and hunting was scheduled last sun-high. It’s a nightmare for a laidback cat like him to work non-stop (several hours already means non-stop in Ashpaw’s terms). After having heavily forced his way to the entrance of their den from the two so-called “final bosses,” the two she-cats still made his life, or rather his day, harder and more complicated. Sleeping would be his only solace of every day and now, Harmonypaw and Dancingbreeze won’t give it to him.
Just ignore them. Not only do yelling at them tire you more, it also takes away your precious time with your comfortable nest. After all, two chattering she-cats are harder to make quiet than a hungry little kit.
At first, the only one not keeping her voice down was the subtle and gentle Harmonypaw, and soon, the loud and confident Dancingbreeze joined in. Together, the two of them made such a ruckus that even their normal voices sounded like a falling tree in Ashpaw’s ears. He could hear the sentences of their conversation that came from their mouth, every single one of them. It was torture. Although he could’ve slept for a second of peace, the silence never came when he sat down. If only Hawkclaw wasn’t his mentor and he had someone with a personality like his, he could not have been overworked by their deputy.
At least, the effort of the apprentice, Harmonypaw, and the warrior, Dancingbreeze, wasn’t put in vain. The two of them had successfully woken up the brown tabby from his slumber (although he wasn’t technically asleep yet), something that was difficult for someone to do. Ashpaw got up from his nest, dreary-eyed and all, and went out of the den. He walked in a zombie-like manner, coming from his lack of rest, and almost bumped into one of the two she-cats. “If you need me, I’ll be in the Warrior’s den, sleeping in Dancingbreeze’s nest,” he mumbled. He then continued to groggily walk towards the older cat’s den, hoping his drowsy sense of scent would still lead him to the she-cat’s nest.
OOC: Sorry for the late post ^^

Harmonypaw Is it guilty in here or is it just me? Guilt crashed over her as she watched Ashpaw walk away. She felt crushed under the weight of her malicious attitude. She hadn't wanted to push him away, she hadn't wanted to make his work load harder, she had just been bored, and that's how she had seen Dancingbreeze act. She flicked her tail and looked over at Dancingbreeze, knowing that the she-cat wouldn't like being told that her nest was going to be used. Harmonypaw thought quickly her mind turning over the consequences of her actions and an idea came to her. She quickly spoke to Dancingbreeze her words to soft for Ashpaw to hear "Let me take care of it...he's just trying to get to you." with that she bounded after Ashpaw, hopeing and praying that Dancingbreeze wouldn't take it upon herself to box her or Ashpaw's ears. She watched him stagger bleary eyed toward the warriors den his eyes almost closed for lack of sleep. She knew Hawktalon must be a hard mentor she hadn't really seen him around since yesterday. As she caught up to him she walked beside him silently for a heartbeat or two before she spoke. "I'm sorry about waking you up...if you want I can grab you a piece of fresh-kill and you can go back to your nest...I didn't mean to get under your fur like that..." She paused, watching her paws as they moved across the clearing.
Well...I did mean too...kind of...but not like this. I didn't know he was so tired... Her thoughts fell like silent whispers across her mind and she looked back at Ashpaw. She noticed they were nearing the warriors den and she made a quick decision. She stepped closer to the tom, so their pelt's brushed and pressed her left shoulder into his right trying to guide him toward the apprentices den. "Sometimes Dancingbreeze has a way of rubbing off on me...I don't mean to be obnoxious..." She spoke and flicked her ears. "Please don't be angry. you deserve rest just like any cat." She flicked her ears again and waited for a response hoping she wasn't being to forward or even more obnoxious. Should I have just let him be...let this all blow over? Is it guilty in here or is it just me? (Lyrics Credit to "Guilty in Here" by Miranda Lambert)

DANCINGBREEZE---------------------------------------- ' Dancingbreeze's leaf-green eyes widened at Ashpaw's sudden announcement. "Hey, wait!" She blurted, about to stumble after the tom. However, Harmonypaw beat her to it. The younger she-cat glanced at Dancingbreeze and told her she'd take care of it, much to Dancingbreeze's chagrin and embarrassment. However, she agreeeably stepped back and watched the calico catch up to the young tom. For a few moments, she stood awkwardly, not catching their conversation. Nobody makes me feel uncomfortable! She told herself after a few moments of anxious fidgeting. The golden tabby warrior approached slowly, tentatively. By the time she'd reached the two, they'd finished their exchange. "Hey. Just go sleep in there. I'm going to ask if I can put myself on another hunting patrol."The words that came out of Dancingbreeze's mouth surprised even herself. Giving up the opportunity to make another cat, especially a little tom, feel inferior? What? But the she-cat smiled tightly and backed away, winking at Harmonypaw before running off in search of the deputy. OOC: Sorry for the late (and short) post, I've been studying for finals. That's why I pulled Dancing out, too; I need to focus. Sorry for forgetting about the thread. You two can have some chatty-bonding friend time now. ^^

Ashpaw flinched when Harmonypaw followed him towards the Warrior’s Den. He had just noticed her presence when the she-cat had opened her mouth to speak since Ashpaw’s senses were all blurry cause of his drowsiness. Well, even if he had noticed her walk up to him, the tom would still act surprised as he didn’t expect Harmonypaw as the only one who’d apologize. In fact, he expected both of Dancingbreee and her to say their apologies to him. As Harmonypaw apologized to Ashpaw by trying to give him an act of kindness, Ashpaw’s selfish thoughts had flowed back to his brain.
Is she trying to bribe me or something so that she can do it again? Oh wait, that isn’t the case. I see, she’s trying to apologize to me by being too kind and too generous. Is she trying to let me think that only a single shrew and an invitation back to my nest would help?
Just then, Harmonypaw decided to explain her actions to Ashpaw, probably getting guilty about what she has done. Apparently, she says that Dancingbreeze was the one who’d influence the young apprentice with her actions. Dancingbreeze being Harmonypaw’s mentor left Ashpaw not too surprised. He hoped that his den-mate’s mentor would also learn from her. What’s next? Dancingbreeze will also apologize like Harmonypaw? Just as on cue, the warrior bounded over the two of them and turned kind before leaving for a hunting patrol. I wonder if my mentor would also learn from me...
After his eyes followed Dancingbreeze to the deputy, he turned back his head to Harmonypaw. “I guess I’d sleep back to my den now,” he mewed. As he began to left Harmonypaw and walk back towards the apprentice’s den, he called Harmonypaw’s name again and reminded her: “Don’t forget to bring a magpie.” Although he wasn’t serious, he hoped that Harmonypaw would think of it as if he had already accepted her apology. Accepting apologies was always an awkward thing to do.
OOC: Late post >_>

Harmonypaw i don’t want to push too far just a shot in the dark that you just might Her eyes flashed in amazement as Dancingbreeze offered her nest to the apprentice, but didn't question her mentor. She, just hoped she wouldn't make it worse. She let out a light sigh when Dancingbreeze bounded off looking for the deputy. She'd meet up with her later, and hopefully they could do some training. She looked back at Ashpaw who had stopped and turned to her after watching Dancingbreeze leave. She wasn't sure but she thought she saw ehr own surprise reflected in his gaze. Speaking his desire to go back to his own nest, she quickly stepped aside letting him pass without a fight. She still had no idea what had come over her. Sometime she really did think she was turing into Dancingbreeze, which wasn't a bad thing, but she didn't want to lose herself in her mentor. She still wanted to be herslef. She sighed and turned toward the freshkill pile, realizing Ashpaw hadn't answered her, she decided to just leave it alone. Perhaps he would just get over it, or at their next combined training session he would take it out on her in a battle training session.
She turned as she heard her name called from the area of the apprentice den, her head looking over her dark shoulder and her hazel eyes flashing with happiness and humor. She smiled realizing it was, Ashpaw had forgiven her, and was trying to make nice. She turned toward the freshkill pile and flicked her tail at her luck. A hunting patrol must have recently returned for there was a magpie sitting right on top of the pile, still slightly warm from the hunt. She picked it up and turned the feathers tickling her nose. She twitched her whiskers and walked calmly toward the Apprentice den. She wanted to give Ashpaw time to settle in his nest before she bothered him one last time. She came to about a fox length from the entrance and place the bird down. She looked up at the sky and smiled, dusk was beginning to fall. If she hurried herhaps she could go out on the dusk patrol with Dancingbreeze. She took a deep breath and lifted the magpie gently in her jaws. She slipped into the apprentice den and located Ashpaw. She moved forward and placed the bird at his paws.
"Still warm." She said triumphantly, before bending down and nosing it toward him. "Have a good rest Ashpaw. I'll see you in the morning." She purred gently and before she realized what she was doing she leaned forward and licked his ear. Her eyes widened and she quickly withdrew her head. "Er...Sorry." She mewed and turned, trying yo get out of the den with at least some of her dignity intact. She stumbled over someones tail and they let out a grunt as she apologized. What in Starclan's name did I just do? She asked digging her claws into the ground and slipping from the den her ears burning hot with embarrassment, and her eyes flashing the same emotion to anyone who looked in them. Trying to patch things up wit her dennmate she may have made things all the worse. be the one i’ve been waiting for my whole life so baby i’m alright, with just a kiss goodnight (Lyrics Credit to "Just a Kiss" by Lady Antebellum)

Ashpaw entered the apprentice’s den with a smile on his face. See, Ashpaw. It pays to be nice to everyone. The tom wouldn’t want to call what he did to Harmonypaw as ‘taking advantage.’ After all, he wasn’t the one who volunteered to fetch him a magpie. Magpies were his favourite among the other prey in the fresh-kill pile since it was mostly coloured in black and white, which makes him remember one of his old but trusted friends. The bird wasn’t very easy to catch also, for it flew swiftly in the air and it was known to be quite smarter than any other type of prey.
The brown tabby-pelted tom had found his way to his beloved and darling nest. The moss that made it soft and comfortable was still warm from when he previously tried to sleep and the bracken was still in-tact. When he finally found the right position to sleep with his friend nest, Harmonypaw came trotting in with a nice piece of his favourite food on her mouth. The she-cat placed the magpie at his paws and nosed it towards Ashpaw. As if he was as hungry as a slim WindClanner in Leaf-Bare, Ashpaw quickly took a mouthful on the bird. Harmonypaw was right! It was still warm; freshly-caught. “Thanks a lot,” the tom mumbled in between his chewing.
Just as when the tom was about to take his second bite out of the fresh-kill, Harmonypaw leaned forward and licked his left ear, like what a queen does to his kit. Am I a kit now? And is she going to be the queen and take care of me? As he finished whatever grub was in his mouth, he began to shoot a strange look at the she-cat. Sure, they could be friends, but what she had done was strange. In fact, he doesn’t even know if she-cats do it with one another. “Um, what are you doing?” he asked.

Harmonypaw I bet my face is red, and you can hear my heart poundin' Well I guess it don't matter now that I realize She'd almost made it out of ear shot. Almost made it far enough to where she could pretend she hadn't heard him. But she had, and she couldn't ignore it, couldn't fake it. She had to turn around and face him. She sighed and turned back to the den. Her ears burned with embarrassment, and she dug her claws into the ground. She didn't want to go back inside, she didn't want to see the scorn on his face. She'd made such a fool of herself. She'd never live this down. She didn't even know why She'd done it. She didn't love him. She cared for Finchpaw. No matter how wrong it was. She flicked her ears and sighed. She knew she had to go in. She moved forward sliding into the den, hanging her head for a moment. She moved back to where Ashpaw lay, the magpie at his paws.
She flicked her ears and looked away from the tom, unwilling to look him in the eye. She thought quickly trying to think about what Dancingbreeze would do in this situation. 'She wouldn't be in this situation mousebrain... She scolded herself and flicked her tail lightly, forcing it to fall elegantly around her paws. She turned to him trying to get her eyes to reflect humor, and joy instead of embarrassment and shame but she knew she was failing. She flicked her ears pinning them against her skull, and sighed. "I'm sorry Ashpaw...I don't really know why I did that." She mewed and flicked her ears forward. "It won't happen again..." She flicked her eyes away their hazel depths seeming to churn and swirl like the waves in a the Lake. She sighed and stood again. "I didn't mean to bother you...I...I didn't mean to..." and it was here that her voice died and her heart lurched. She wouldn't be able to stand it if Ashpaw sent her away angry again. She realized at that moment, that she had a hint of care for Ashpaw. Not that she had hated him before but, he had just been a denmate. She considered him a friend now. She didn't want him angry or upset with her. She looked at her paws and then back at him waiting for his response, whatever it would be. ‘Cause baby I missed it then, but I can surely see you now Right here before my eyes you're my beautiful surprise

SANDPAW Sandpaw padded into the apprentice den with a thrush clenched in her jaws. So far, she was having a hauntingly normal day. Hunting, battle training, more hunting, climbing. Though her dreams were still throbbing in her mind and somehow...clenched her heart. Though she knew not why. Flicking her ears, she was pulled away from her thoughts as she saw Harmonypaw stuttering as she spoke with Ashpaw. She stood, confused for a moment. What's up with this? Isn't Harmonypaw all moony over that ShadowClan apprentice...Finchpaw! Please tell me we don't have another Dancingbreeze in the making! Though she had really not cared for Dancingbreeze in the past, she was horrified with the fact that there might be another.
The she-cat shrugged, but kept a bemused gaze fixed on the pair of them. Normal apprentice drama. It wasn't unusual for a she-cat to try to find herself a mate before she was made a warrior, but Harmonypaw was usually not after Ashpaw! The idea surprised Sandpaw to a great extent. Though she purred good-naturedly anyway. Way to make things awkward for the two of them! She chuckled. How she couldn't wait until she was out of the apprentice den and into the warrior's. Warrior. Has a nice, strong ring to it doesn't it? She thought. She knew she would sometimes miss the quiet bickering of littermates or the drama, but she hoped her warrior ceremony was soon anyhow.
She took a thoughtful mouthful of her thrush. She had been an apprentice for about six moons now? Half my life... Certainly her ceremony would be soon? She hoped so. There still is much to learn! A voice whispered inside her head. She agreed completely, of course. She pushed her thoughts down and keyed into the conversation of Harmonypaw and Ashpaw. Ashpaw was a fine tom, no doubt about it. But Harmonypaw after Ashpaw? Almost unthinkable.
occ: Shes suprised, can't you tell? She's also getting the wrong idea... I don't know, Sandpaw needed some activity I guess! Hope I'm not barging in on something! If I am I can just make her fall asleep or something.
