names: Swankit Swanpaw Swanfrost gender: Female/She-cat age: 20 moons clan: ThunderClan rank: Warrior
personality: Shallow Swanfrost, shallow? How could you say that? Well, it’s pretty easy to say that because there is very little that this she-cat actually cares about (that isn’t herself). Mainly, these things are her appearance, toms, being beautiful, cute toms, getting what she wants, handsome toms, not having to do work, and good-lookin’ toms. But really, if she sees anything that could possibly be reflective, you’ve lost her. She’ll stare and stare and pose and stare and then maybe fix something up a bit and stare and stare. Gossiping is one of her favorite pastimes, both listening and creating, but she does it so subtly that it could hardly be called cruel and nosy. And then comes politics! Swanfrost could not give a twitch of a whisker about what’s going on between the Clans. In fact, she doesn’t even really recognize the separate Clan loyalties or Clan boundaries and borders; she thinks every tom is open to her (and she does her best to make that so). Sure, she won’t really cross or go wandering, but it’s mainly because she couldn’t care less about it and because she knows that other cats just get super uptight about it all, something she finds pretty dumb. She also has very little belief in StarClan – she hasn’t experienced anything, so why should she care about a bunch of dead cats in the sky? It’s not as if the dead can actually affect the living, that’s her opinion. However, she doesn’t generally express her innermost opinions because people would grow upset with her, and that would just be a loss of her entire power base would be poof, just like that. That’s because Swanfrost slithers along other cats’ backs, tricking and manipulating them and leaving them in the dust in ways that they wouldn’t even notice. No real friends here. Some cats may think she’s a friend, but she really is just fooling them. Her vanity is something of a mental block when reviewing her own flaws, which many cats would say is her entire personality. However, she doubts that anyone fully knows her true spirit. But hey, she could so very well be wrong, since her view of herself is a bit on the warped side.
Selfish And here’s this. Yes. Swanfrost’s entire world revolves around herself and pleasure. As in, pleasing herself. Mainly, that comes from attractive toms and seducing them, but there are other things to it, the simple things in life. Simpler, that is. And when it comes to where her loyalties lie, it’s really quite basic. Obviously, Swanfrost’s loyal to Swanfrost, and Swanfrost alone. She doesn’t care about the Clans or anything. Heck, if she sees a tom she deems attractive in another Clan, well… it’s just more fun with the whole forbidden love thing. Not that she actually feels love, it’s really just more of an animal thing (ha, get it, ’cause she’s a cat). If she had to choose between herself and the Clan, she’d choose herself. If she had to choose between a litter of kits or herself, she’d choose herself. If she had a choice to save all the elders from a fire or herself, guess what. She’d pick the elders. HA. Got you there, right? No, Swanfrost would protect herself first of all. If, for instance, there were to be a major war between Clans or some ambitious cat were to attempt to take over the forest, Swanfrost would just try to disappear for a while (maybe catch some cute rogue) and return and say that she was with the masses who supported whoever won. Or she would just ditch and try to find another group of cats, although that would take so much effort. That’s sort of the main reason she stays in the Clan – not for the feeling of community or the warmth of love or whatever, all that crap, nope. She stays in the Clan because that makes her safer than many other cats, gives her a sense of stability (so the rest of her life can be crazy and wild and a party), and makes it so that she doesn’t need to do a lot of work herself. What with her being a warrior and all, albeit a young one, it means that she doesn’t need to do everything for herself or even go out of her way for others, and that’s just the way Swanfrost likes it. So, in short, no Clan loyalties here and no real morals. She’ll do whatever she feels like when she feels like, mainly hoping that there’s no long term obligations involved.
Flirty It should probably be mentioned that manipulative goes right along with this because what else is seduction if not the spinning of a social web by another creature? That is something that Swanfrost does so often, sometimes she hardly even knows herself. In all of her life living in ThunderClan, she very much doubts that anyone knows her true self, and that is probably how she can get away with her subtle – or not so subtle – flirting with all the toms. Lots of what she does are just flings, but what with cats lacking the sorts of things Twolegs have, it’s only a matter of time before one of those “romantic” moonlit nights turns into something permanent, tiny, and loud. Swanfrost would really rather not have kits, but if it were to happen, she wouldn’t abandon them. After all, to abandon kits in Clan life was sort of a crime in the eyes of the other cats, and Swanfrost will do just about anything to stay in the good opinion of the majority. Just about every tomcat strikes her fancy, and she will go out of her way to try to get them to see her in the same light. Most of her infatuations are extremely short lived, but she has had the occasional lasting one. And the majority of these were with loners and rogues who were just wandering by, not with actual Clan cats who could make statements against her. Her kindness level toward other kitties is very low, in truth, but she masks everything so well that it would take the most observant and paranoid cats to tell. Everything is layered with sugar and sweetness, with a batting of her lashes. It’s just something she enjoys so much, the being loved thing. Heck, she’ll even flirt with apprentices, if she thinks they’re good looking enough and if they could possibly be the age of a young warrior. Not that she’d get serious with them, but some coy words could definitely be flung their way. No scruples does Swanfrost have, mhm, indeed.
Swanfrost’s irresponsible and finicky nature would make her a terrible cat for any high rank, and she is already not the best warrior with somewhat lacking fighting skills and below average hunting. Of course, she knows it all, but she just does not care enough to work on improvement. Sorry?
appearance: Swanfrost is a picture of classic kitty beauty, or at least she aims for that. She is slender, but finely muscled like any smart wild cat, with fantastically symmetrical features that are hardly unattractive. She is not dainty per say, but she has qualities that, given the proper grooming, can give her the appearance of being fine and fragile, requiring the protection of a lovely strong tom (me-ow!). Then again, she also can give off the illusion of being a tough-girl kitty who scratches a cat as soon as looks at him (yes, specifically “him”). Her persona is something that she can adapt fairly easily and quite readily.
As far as coloring goes, this she-cat is very pale. The majority of her body is a sort of off-white, half between cream and white. Her face has tabby markings and is also very light in coloring, and her legs are matching. There are stripes on her tail, the most being on the tip and fading as they wind around and up closing to her flank. There is an occasional stripe on her body, but it is mostly plain and pale. Her nose is a lovely shade of pink, outlined with a very slight and faint shade of brown. The texture of her fur is luxuriously soft, too much so, many say, for a warrior. It is not nearly as luscious as a kittypet’s, of course, but for a warrior, well. Has to be seen to be believed, and, oh, does she use it. And her eyes, oh her eyes! They are bright and large, lovely and blue. Their shade varies depending on the lighting, going from deep and dark, like the sea, to pale and pretty, comparable to a cloudless sky.
Appearance. Her greatest asset.
history: Oh, so fun. Somebody might think that nobody who was raised in ThunderClan by a loving family could turn out as heartless and self-absorbed as Swanfrost, but that somebody would be totally wrong because Swanfrost had a perfect seeming family. Her mother was another classic beauty named Ingrid Bergman Frostbird, her father a handsome tom called Clark Gable Emberdust. Swanfrost, as Swankit (of course), had three brothers. Her parents, Emberdust more than Frostbird, were rather traditional, and so little Swankit’s father paid more attention to his kits. He wanted them to be the best warriors out of the Clan, the three little kittens (whose names were, just so you know, Lionkit, Dusk-kit, and Venomkit. While Emberdust was doing his best to make them good little warriors, the three took it upon themselves to wander out just after they had started eating meat instead of milk. Now, you probably can guess how it ended. It ended badly. None of them survived. Emberdust was consumed with grief and turned to his mate, who was cordial but hardly affectionate enough for a mate whose kits had been lost. Lucky thing that Swankit was around the moment this was happening because she approached her father, who looked at her with his amber eyes as though he’d never truly seen her before, which was close enough to the truth. From that moment on, her parents were somewhat separate from each other, but they spoiled their remaining kitten rotten. So she got her looks from her parents and her personality from being the perfect little girl. She got everything she wanted, no matter what it was, and that sort of went to her head. Of course, to all cats she seemed the perfect kit, quiet and obedient, but on the inside, she was always thinking of how to twist cats around her tiny paw.
And that was that! When she became Swanpaw, she was apprenticed to an older tomcat called Nettlenose, which Swanpaw thought was something of an unfortunate name for an unfortunate looking tom. He was not exactly attractive, and when Swanpaw stepped into the age of noticing toms, she noticed. Of course, the cats from the other Clans were just so much better looking! The grass is always greener, right? Well, at some point when she was almost a warrior, she met a deliciously charming and handsome rogue tom by the name of Wickham who had apparently be a kittypet when he was a kit. He was somewhat older than she, but she was in love, her first really passionate emotion. And then he left. Needless to say she was devastated, since she had thought she could run away with him and be joyous and happy for the rest of her life. However, she had stumbled upon a pleasure that had not been known to her before. Continuing her façade as the perfect girly, she now knew about this thing. She didn’t know at that time what sort of effects it could have, but during her warrior vigil, she had a little scare because of a passing loner whose name she has long since forgotten. It turned out to be nothing she couldn’t cure with a little snack-fest in the medicine cat den (and a long rest there afterwards with some unpleasant vomiting sensations throughout). After this brush with “life” (get it?), Swanfrost – named after her recently deceased mother by greencough, since it sounded better to the leader than Swanbird, Swanember, or Swandust, what with her father being killed by a Twoleg monster just a moon before – expanded her pleasure-base to Clan cats, mostly from other Clans so she wouldn’t earn a believable reputation amongst her own Clanmates. There was only one point where she was desperate enough for a good time, however bad it might be, that she lured her old mentor, Nettlenose, who was on the brink of death, toward the lake. He ended up falling in and being unable to swim, but, of course, Swanfrost herself couldn’t swim. Not that she would have saved him if she could’ve. But then she spotted a cute tabby, and boom, she was off.
Since Swanfrost gained (since earned is a bit too much of a lie) her warrior name, she has had similar escapades with disreputable tomcats, twisting everyone’s minds to make them think she’s still the perfect daughter of Emberdust and Frostbird. How true is it, though? It depends on what you view as perfect.

Accepted! Swanfrost seems like such a fun character! I can see her wrapping her paw around all of the toms!
