At first glance, Slatekit is a very average cat. He’s rather happy-go-lucky and has the same goals as almost any other kit in the Clans: he wants to grow up to be a good, big warrior who can take care of his Clan. This will change as he ages, though. Slatekit is a cat who enjoys a good laugh and always tries to cheer others up with his humor unless he seriously dislikes them, which he doesn’t often. He has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and he is very curious, but also obedient. Fighting is not something that comes as particularly natural to Slatekit, or rather, beginning fights. It is more in his nature to try to quell issues and to calm other cats down, or even act as a judge or referee. Beneath his harmless exterior, the gray tabby is very thoughtful, observant, and pensive. His gaze misses little, and he absorbs and ponders over these things that he learns. As a kit, he will have minimal understanding, but all things will grow over time, yes?
As Slatekit grows older, he will find more and more interest in all sorts of abstract and philosophical things that most cats wouldn’t even dream of. He will wonder of the existence of StarClan, how it is possible, if there is something greater. Is there fate? Perhaps, though, the most defining thing about him is his political theory and how he thinks that the Clans will prosper and function much better as a single, whole group that could be nomadic within a certain area rather than very stationary separate Clans with additional cultural and structural modifications. How vocal he is about these topics will depend on his growth, and how well-received he is will vary, of course.

Well, Slatekit is gray. That’s sort of the first thing about him. He’s a gray tabby, leanly muscled and good at running and those sorts of things. One thing that he is not is an amazing bulk-fighter because of these things, but he has strong legs, even if they are not the longest. Even with the leanness and everything, he is a good mix between sturdy and slippery. His paws are white, as is his muzzle and his throat and chest, giving him the appearance of having a bib (or sloppily had milk). Beneath and above his eyes is a little bit of white, as well as on the bridge of his nose slightly, as if to call attention to his eyes. The insides of his legs are also a white color, as is his underbelly. In some lights, he looks like a very pale gray tabby, with fur the color of mist, and other times it can appear to be much darker, and sometimes can even look blue-gray, so it is easy to just place him in the middle as being a “gray tabby”. As far as looking like other tabbies in the world, though, his stripes are not always very noticeable, and sometimes he can just look like a gray cat with white markings. Similar to many other gray tabbies around the world, the fur on his face can appear to have brownish qualities to it. His facial structure is not distinguished by any strange or out-of-the-ordinary feature, but his eyes are quite noticeable and perhaps the most interesting thing about his appearance.
Slatekit’s eyes are very green, but they have bluish rings around the edges and can even sometimes appear to be yellow. They change color in different lights, though the most common one is the green-with-some-blue, but they can change to be quite nearly aqua, especially as far as cat eyes go. His nose is a darker pink, and his whiskers are in perfect condition and the perfect size with the longest ones being as wide as his body. He is, perhaps, slightly taller than other cats, and that could be one of his distinguishing features, but that would be about it physical stature-wise.

Well. Slatekit has yet to be born, but he has three siblings: Riverkit, Sparrowkit, and Zerokit. His mother is Howlingsong and his father is Thistlestorm of WindClan, although Slatekit believes that Darkthorn is his father.
