Larkwing
names: Larkkit//Larkpaw//Larkwing
gender: she-cat
age: eight moons
clan: WindClan
rank: apprentice
personality: This tiny tan kit has a lot to make up for in size rather than personality. Like the well known Brambleclaw, Larkpaw, or rather, the to-be Larkwing, has instinctive acts and traits of being a leader. She may sometimes be referred to being bossy and she is usually always trying to tell others what to do --but unlike some cats, it's with good intentions, she is a bright cat with intelligence a bit over her age. When called bossy, she simply acknowledges it and tries to do the best of her abilities to help her clan. She strictly follows the warrior code, but is one to break it if deemed necessary for her tactics or for the good of the clan.
Stubborn. Yes, she is extremely stubborn, even when she knows she's wrong, she will try to find a way around it and stick up for herself, not so much clever with words, but as making a point and pulling her point across one's head. To the worst, she is stubborn and prideful, a combination not rare, and maybe more on the 'normal' side of most cats, yet this emphases her characteristics well. It is hard for her to break her pride, and only in such extreme circumstances would she ever think of it.
Feisty and with a bit of a temper. Like Mothwing, she can be kind and caring towards those in need, and feels that everyone deserves a chance, whether they be half-clan, kittypet or even full-blooded, but with the surprising assault of uncaring parents or parent. She respects the borders kindly, but she will certainly not leave a half dead cat four fox-lengths across the border to die.
Extremely friendly. She likes to fit in with the crowd, or if not, at least pretend to. She doesn't like to feel as if she's entirely different than her clanmates. She rates friendship as one of the most needed necessities in order to survive and cherishes each one separately. Despite this, she is extremely close to her sister and although very open with friends would do nothing that would make her sister unhappy.
During a fight, she hates relying on others to help her through and strives hard to become a great warrior for the clan, never ceasing to give up and tries hard not to doubt herself. She doesn't really love to fight, but a refreshing battle is good for almost everyone, no? Instead of battling, she tries using her words instead of immediately unsheathing her claws onto the opposing side.
appearance: Fur as tan as the sand, her pelt may almost glow a creamy white in the moonlight. Larkpaw is generally based and sized up as a small cat with plain tan fur; by looks from a distance you can only tell of her basic tan pelt and and maybe even a slightly darker sock complexion. However, as you draw closer, and your mind's eye can look past the deep tan pelt, you may begin to notice the actuality of her pelt, and what might make her seem more original and not ushered in with a type of generality and more as an abstract character.
Likewise, if you have the mind to look at the she-cat in a different perspective, you may notice the actual colour of her pelt. Her pelt is made up of a variety of tans, not just one plain tan in general. As a confusion, the tans are all only slightly darker or slightly lighter then one or the next, making it seemingly impossible to observe and hypocritically enjoy the difference. Together, the ranging pelt pattern makes up her general tan, and hit from different light perspectives, her colour of tan may seem different from one day to the next, giving the impression of a multicoloured switch one's notice verifying.
Besides the originality of her pelt, her eyes are one amongst others. Unlike most cats, whose eye color maintain the same colour in both opposing eyes, her left eye is a magnificent sea green, as one of a day of hot sailing, while the other is a sky blue, as when the sun is at it's highest peak on the warmest day of the winter. They, together, can give a seeker a startling, uncomfortable glare, or a soft, kind look, depending on the mood of it's user.
Technically, she wasn't the runt of the liter, although it would seem so. Her sister Mothkit, was the runt, but she was not far behind. The only thing that can be said about her is that she has long spider-like legs. Not like that of her sister's however. Her's are not skilled in jumping, but speed. She loves to run as she pride's herself in her quick movement and lack of sound when doing so.
history: Larkpaw is the second daughter to Suneyes and Mudspot, Mothkit being the first. Waspkit was born last, and was the all-time runt. Although, it could be said that all of them were mildly like runts. He died when they were nearing their forth moon, and it was disastrous. Larkpaw seemed to be the one who cared the most deeply about her brother's death, as Suneyes, Mudspot, and Mothkit grieved, no one could say that Larkpaw didn't feel the closest to him. She remembered his warm fur and startling gray eyes. After he had died, and was gone to be buried, Larkpaw made a resolve to take care of those she loved --that being Mothkit at most. She was very protective of her even at a young age and scarcely left her side.
When Larkpaw was apprenticed, now Larkpaw, it could be said that it was the happiest day of her life. She fit into training well although she would have most likely strayed to the medicine cat den if not for an apprentice already there. But she bid her time well as an apprentice to a warrior. And to be honest, it wasn't that bad. Sure, she wasn't the best at battling, but hunting was her skill.
Her sister's lack of friends concerns her and it doesn't make it to her mind to why she would rather hang around warriors than cats their own age. Nevertheless, Larkpaw always found time for her sister, or rather, almost never left her side.sample rpother: This cat scares me! She seems too . . . . normal 0-0
