It has been informed to me by a member of the site that things are coming a little out of hand... friend / mate-wise. In the books, cats aren't friends with cats from other Clans (at least this is really rare). So I would like to not put a complete stop to this, I just want it to tell everyone the truth. As for mates, hardly any cats have mates outside of their Clan. I think this has gone out of hand as well. Yes, I know that I, myself, have a mate outside of Clan (which would be Crimsonleaf), but I would like to put an end to this. Or rather an almost end.
So, if you want mates outside of your cat's Clan, it'll cost you. I'm not as worried about friends part of this as I am for mates, but please dim the friends from other Clan's down (by a lot!!). I know for sure none of my cats (Wildpath and Cricketleap) have friends outside of their Clans. Just saying. And if a medicine cat wants a mate from now on, it will be pricey. Very pricey, along with having a mate from another Clan.
To not be hypocritical, since I'm a medicine cat and have a mate in RiverClan while Cricketleap is in ShadowClan, I'm going to be starting this effectively starting now. Please comment with your ideas, concerns, agreement or disagreement. I'd like to know what you guys think. Thank-you. |

Alright, this seems like a good choice. As it is getting a bit out of hand, I should agree with you. I was going to get Midnighteyes a mate, outside of the clan, but then again... it wouldn't really be very good for her as she isn't that out-going yet. Ah well, I give this a thumbs up.

You are totally right Cricket!! I was going to make my cat, Dreampool(who might be medicine cat) have a mate, but then I saw this post. I realized both how stupid having a mate was for a medicine cat, and that it would even fit her personality more to stay single. Thanks Cricket!! I hope one day I can run a site as well as you do.  |
