names:
gender:
She-Cat
age:
Twenty-Five Moons
clan:
ThunderClan
rank:
Warrior
personality:
You’ll never meet a she-cat like Dancingbreeze. Bold, sassy, and hugely flirtatious, this pretty feline doesn’t seem to have any shame (Or self-respect, for that matter.) However, she is really a cat of many layers, and is very hard to understand at first.
No matter what Clan you’re in, you’ve probably heard of Dancingbreeze. Her reputation isn’t the best; it is one of a player. Dancingbreeze has a thing for cute toms, and if you’re even decently good-looking, chances are she’s tried to charm you (and perhaps she’s succeeded.) Due to this fact, most cats don’t respect her very much. Most she-cats don’t seem to like her either out of jealousy or just annoyance at her overconfidence. Dancingbreeze has even been known to try her charms on the Clan leaders and deputies. If she wants something (or someone), she’ll stop at nothing to get it – at least for a while.
If you get to meet her, she may or may not contradict what you’ve heard of her. Dancingbreeze looks sweet and aloof, with her big green eyes and long, fluffy fur, but she is anything but. She is hugely judgmental and will immediately dislike you if you’re ugly. However, she admires other confident and good-looking cats (mostly, cats like her) and will allow herself to speak to them. Immediately, though, she makes an attempt to exert an alpha-like dominance over herself, trying to intimidate her acquaintances. She’ll even try this with her higher ranked Clanmates. Some toms, idiots that they are, find this cute and endearing, and try to tease Dancingbreeze about it. What do they get? A frown, a glare, a purse of the lips, and an I-could-care-less strut away from them. She can’t stand being treated like a subordinate, and is very vocal about it, another reason that many cats seem to dislike her. But wait, you think. How does she get her flirting skills on, then? This can be a little side note. Dancingbreeze has a very specific, proven plan that draws toms to her. She acts a bit more confident than usual, as confidence is a trait that most tomcats seem to like, and leaves little hints here and there, making toms secretly smile to themselves at her adorable naivete. What they don’t realize is that Dancingbreeze is the one playing them the entire time! After she “gets” the tom, though, is when things get messy. Dancingbreeze is one of those cats that doesn’t do things long-term. Once she gets something she thought unattainable, whether it be a cute tom with a pregnant mate or a certain senior warrior, she drops it immediately. A theory to this (lack of?) attachment issue of hers is that Dancingbreeze’s mother, much like Dancingbreeze herself in appearance and personality, taught her to never grow too close to anybody, since it only makes yourself vulnerable, and the feeling Dancingbreeze hates the most is vulnerability. She probably won’t give away her heart unless she knows it’s to the right cat (yes, a secret romantic!) but right now that hasn’t happened yet, so Dancingbreeze just dawdles around and milks her unofficial role in the Clan as “heartbreaker” to all it’s worth.
But Dancingbreeze isn’t universally hated. She does have some followers, some cats that admire her brazenness and find her fascinating, not in a lusty tom way, but in a wow-I-want-to-be-her kind of way. They are usually some naïve little she-cat apprentices who venerate Dancingbreeze’s natural confidence. She is just so audacious, sometimes this part of her outshines the little bitty fact that she has a tarnished reputation as a serial flirter. However, most mothers don’t want their little innocent daughters becoming close to Dancingbreeze.
Not many are lucky enough to get to know the real Dancingbreeze. In fact, this hasn’t really happened yet. But Dancingbreeze isn’t a total fool. She is very perseverant (mostly about toms, but still) and is capable of respecting a few cats. If you don’t immediately cave to either her flirtiness (toms!) or her boldness (she-cats) she may eventually grow to respect you. However, that respect is extremely hard to earn. You need to be strong enough to overcome Dancingbreeze’s want to be your sovereign, which can be pretty difficult. But, hidden most deeply in the recesses of this she-cat’s carefully guarded heart is her ambition. She knows it’s a long shot, being known as such a flirter and such, but Dancingbreeze has high hopes in one day becoming deputy, or leader. She also is aware of the sacrifices this could lead to (No mate or kits without having to step down!) but, since she isn’t exactly lusting after a family, she just wants to have cats have to respect her. One day. She isn’t psycho enough to be all, “I’ll kill for my chance to be leader!” since she knows how to be patient when it comes to long-term goals like this. Except not for short term things. Patience isn’t a virtue Dancingbreeze values when it comes to problems like waiting in line for her chance at the fresh-kill pile, waiting for the rest of her patrol to arrive, waiting for a tom to become available…
Dancingbreeze is a cat of many contradictions and idiosyncrasies. She will be quite a cat if you get to know her.
appearance:
Dancingbreeze is a ThunderClan gem. You’ll probably never meet a cat that looks as striking as she does: a gorgeous tabby she-cat with impossibly soft honey-bronze fur. Fluffy, darker colored stripes run down her spine. Dancingbreeze takes pride in the alternating chocolate-and-creamy hued fur, and has it groomed to perfection – always. Her eyes compliment her caramel-hued pelt, a dazzling shade of pale leaf-green. When Dancingbreeze is happy, they sparkle, when she's so mad she could burst, her jade eyes cloud up and seemingly darken until they’re a dark evergreen. Long white whiskers complete what you would see from a first glimpse. Dancingbreeze's elegant, saucy, feminine sashay as she walks is a tom magnet. She enjoys showing off her slender frame and dainty little paws.
In short, Dancingbreeze is a beauty and not afraid to strut around showing it. Be prepared, boys!
history:
[kithood]
Dancingbreeze was the last kit of Amethystrose and Redfeather, both purebred ThunderClan cats. Her mother was quite like her last “official” kit, down to the long, smooth honey colored fur, the flirty strut, and the equally flirtatious personality. Amethystrose was a known and reputed player. Vile and envious rumors would spurn from toms and she-cats’ mouths alike to shame her, yet Amethystrose, like Dancingbreeze, was a shameless cat. She believed in the passion of the moment and lust, yet was very wary of love. As a younger cat, it was whispered that one day Amethystrose flirted with a loner, who took it too seriously, and he figuratively scarred her for life. However, Redfeather, her loyal mate, loved Amethystrose and cared for her, ignoring the fact that she had many paramours. Dancingbreeze only inherited one trait from her senior crimson-pelted father – his charming green gaze. She did not get Amethystrose’s bright blue eyes. As a kit, Dancingbreeze was spoiled by her adoring father, yet her mother was always busy flirting with another tom or patching up her crumbling relationship with Redfeather. She rarely got to spend time with Amethystrose, whose only advice to her was, “Never allow yourself to be vulnerable. You need to always have the upper hand.” It had been a rainy day, and Amethystrose had just gotten into a fight with the usually placating Redfeather. Her mother’s blue gaze would have looked stoic from afar, but since Dancingbreeze had been sitting next to her, she could see the tears pooling in the corners of those pretty sapphire orbs. She took her mother’s words to heart and has listened to it ever since.
[apprenticeship]
Dancingbreeze’s apprentice months were probably as torturous for her as for her mentor, Earthsong. Earthsong was a stern, burly brown-pelted old maid who Dancingbreeze respected but dreaded. Her mentor didn’t approve of Dancingbreeze’s “inappropriate” behavior and tried to shape her into a calm warrior who didn’t give a whit about toms, but unfortunately, she couldn’t. Training sessions were long and tedious, for Dancingbreeze would always be distracted by the cute young warrior training his equally cute apprentice close by, and not listen to Earthsong. However, the senior she-cat’s passion for teaching wasn’t all wasted on Dancingbreeze. Earthsong was a powerful fighter, with strong hind legs and surprising agility with her movements. Every motion she showed Dancingbreeze was like a deadly dance. Dancingbreeze’s battling skills far surpassed her mediocre hunting and tracking ability, and by the time she had passed her assessment, she fought so fluidly and gracefully it looked dangerous and beautiful. She credits Earthsong for that particular talent of hers.
[warriorhood]
Dancingbreeze was made a warrior a little while ago. Her life has been quiet so far, mainly filled with dragging by with patrol duty and such (She swears that Hawkclaw’s putting her on Dawn Patrols just to deprive her of her sleep) and flirting with cute toms (There’s one everywhere she sees)! She plans to keep up this repetitive schedule for moons to come.

There.
Eyes on the target, the prize.
A willowy honey-pelted she-cat stood smugly next to the fresh-kill pile, her emerald eyes fixed on something close by: a handsome, muscular golden tomcat with eyes so deeply brown you could fall into them and never want to come out. Dancingbreeze gave a slight approving nod to herself and swallowed the last of her mouse before padding over.
“Hi, there,” She meowed, making her voice delicate and clipped, almost to the point of nasal. It made her sound like a docile, distressed, helpless she-cat.
The tom glanced at her and a smile broke out on his face. ”Dancingbreeze. What’s up?”
She smirked at him and didn’t reply, positioning herself so she was laying provocatively next to him. “This is a bad spot to be sunbathing,” The she-cat said derisively, giving a dainty sniff. He laughed and shrugged.
”Maybe I just wanted to watch somebody.” He replied, looking oh-so-subtly at her. Dancingbreeze rolled her eyes and inched away from the good-looking tom, just enough to show him that his line was too much. Quickly, he added, “Or maybe not,” with an attempt for sounding mysterious as he scrambled to backtrack.
Too late.
Dancingbreeze pursed her lips. Clearly, she was disappointed that this tom wasn't as enchanting as he'd appeared. “Sure,” She said vaguely, averting her eyes so she could less associate herself with him for anybody who happened to glance her way. Then she got back to her paws and blurted with a bat of her lashes, “I’m sorry. I have a patrol. Talk to you later.”
“You were just on patrol…” The tomcat got the hint and frowned. “Dancingbreeze!” he called out, frustrated.
But she was already bolting away, laughing to herseelf. Toms are so stupid.
[That was really crappy, sorry. ^^”]
