Should this become a rule: if a high positioner / a staff member doesn't log in for a week, should their position be taken away?
I was thinking about that. I know some people posted in the leaving board, but they still log in from time to time, always logging on at least once per week. That's understandable, but what if someone just randomly poofs with no words? It wouldn't be fair if a really inactive person who only logs in once every two weeks or suddenly becomes inactive has a high position. So what do you think? Should people that haven't logged on in a week or more have their position taken away ( maybe the first time as a warning, the next they have to audition again, and the next forever? ) How does that sound to everyone? Feel free to comment with your comments and concerns or just vote on the poll.

I definitely like the warning system. I think that high position holders need to be active for a site to thrive, since many plots, etc are started by or at least include high positions. :3

Unless something unexpected happens, like they have to go to the hospital or something. Of course, something like that rarely happens, especially after when they have no Internet for a week. I'm just trying to think of all the possibilities though.

That is true, although like you said Russetpaw, it's very unlikely to happen. So unless if they have a really good excuse when they come back, their position will be taken away. So that means at least one person's position will be removed... well, actually warned from being removed.

Late reply is late *shot*
I think it's fair enough to take it away from them after a warning but I think it's unfair to ban them forever from auditioning for it again. It's not like the high positions will be auditioned for frequently. Although one of my cats has a high position, I think it's fair to take it away from me if I was still inactive even after the warning.
