Why hello friends, enemies, accquantinces! If you are a current member stopping by to check out this help thread, you all know me as Peachie. You may be thinking, what? A non-staff member helping? How is that possible! Well, you are correct! I am not a staff-member(yet). But that won't stop me from helping out new members, or old members. Well, let us begin!
What's in a name? Well, there is a lot that can be said about this. Some say a name holds personality(I am one of these people), and some say it is a mere word that matters nothing important. Well, in naming a character(yes, this is a character name thread) you must take into consideration your future character's personality. Are they nice, kind, sweet? Or on the contrary, mean, spiteful, evil? You wouldn't want to name an all-out evil cat Sweetberry, would you? Unless you wanted it to be some sort of joke, of course. Here is an example of names that would fit a personality trait-
Loud= Loudwhisper/ Largemeow?
Quiet= Quietstep/Whisperwind/Silentwing
Nice=Sweetberry/Cheertail
Mean= Nettlepelt/Thornflight
See what I mean? On the other hand, appearance names are much easier to deal with. Most cat's names are based on appearance, not personality, because they are named at kit-age. Some names that are based on appearance are as follows-
Poppyblaze-orange she-cat with darker red patches
Frogspring-green eyed tom with gray pelt and long legs
See what I mean? I hope my thread helped you, and if you need help with names, just leave a reply. I am ready to lend a helping....paw. ^^
