'Cause I got a couple dents in my fender
Got a few rips in my jeans
Try to put the pieces together
BUT PERFECTION IS MY ENEMY
Got a few rips in my jeans
Try to put the pieces together
BUT PERFECTION IS MY ENEMY
Hey there, I'm Navigator. I'm thirteen, female, and currently being silently thoughtful. I've got a sort of varied personality, of which you might be able to partially describe. You can most often find me quiet, thoughtful, and a little detached from my surroundings, conversations, and generally just reality. My personality type is classified as being an INTP, standing for "Introvert, iNtuitive, Thinker, Perceiver." Wanna know what the heck that means? I'll tell you.
Introvert-- Your best ideas often come after you've let them "percolate" for a while inside your head. While you enjoy some social gatherings, you tend to prefer in depth, one-on-one conversations with a few people rather than having lots of brief conversations with many different people. After spending several hours socializing, you'd probably like to recharge your batteries by being alone for a little while. You tend to listen before talking and don't like to compete with others for "air time." It may take awhile for others to get to know the real you.
Introverts often:
•Have quiet energy
•Listen more than talk
•Think quietly inside their heads
•Think, then act
•Feel comfortable being alone
•Prefer to work "behind-the-scenes"
•Have good powers of concentration
•Prefer to focus on one thing at a time
•Are self-contained and reserved
Intuitive-- You tend to be most interested in ideas and like to consider future possibilities. When you are having a conversation, your brain is constantly making associations and you can easily see connections to other ideas and concepts. As a result, you often remember your impression of conversations and can relay the gist, but not the precise wording that was used. You probably enjoy brainstorming ideas and seeing long term implications and would prefer to be involved in creating the vision of what could be rather than executing the many steps involved to get there.
Intuitives often:
•Focus on the big picture & possibilities
•Admire creative ideas
•Notice anything new or different
•Are inventive - see what could be
•Think about future implications
•Trust their gut instincts
•Prefer to learn new skills
•Like to figure things out for themselves
•Work in bursts of energy
Thinker-- You tend to be most comfortable with the part of the decision making process that involves logically analyzing the pros and cons and looking at the situation as objectively as possible, taking the particular feelings of individual people out of the equation. Your objective is to arrive at a decision that "makes sense" and treats everyone fairly. You probably find it easiest when you can be very straightforward with people and not have to worry too much about possibly offending them with your directness.
Thinkers often:
•Make decisions objectively
•Appear cool and reserved
•Are most convinced by rational arguments
•Are honest and direct
•Value honesty and fairness
•Take few things personally
•Are good at seeing flaws
•Are motivated by achievement
•Argue or debate issues for fun
Perceiver-- You like to keep your options open and take in lots of information before making a decision. You enjoy being spontaneous in your social life. You generally prefer an informal and casual approach to most things and probably don't like a lot of unnecessary rules. While you've learned to meet most deadlines, you may do your best work when you get the adrenaline rush at the last minute. You might like to take frequent breaks especially when working on lengthy projects.
Perceivers often:
•Like to keep their options open
•Are playful and casual
•Are less aware of time and may run late
•Prefer to start projects
•Play first, work later
•May have difficulty making some decisions
•Question the need for many rules
•Like to keep plans flexible
•Want the freedom to be spontaneous
INTP--
INTPs represent between 3 and 5% of the U.S. population
Intensely intellectual and logical, INTPs are conceptual problem solvers and often show flashes of creative brilliance. Outwardly quiet, reserved, and detached, INTPs are inwardly absorbed in analyzing problems. They are critical, precise, and skeptical and are driven to find and use logical principles to understand their many ideas. They like conversation to be high level and purposeful and may argue to the point of hairsplitting just for fun. INTPs are convinced almost exclusively by logical reasoning.
They set high standards – for themselves and for others. INTP’s think in extremely complex ways and are generally better at organizing new concepts and ideas than at organizing other people. Highly independent, INTP’s tend to be more interested in finding creative solutions to problems than implementing them on the ground level.

And that sums most of me up in a nutshell, but I do have flashes of other personality traits. Out of the blue I can become hyper, shameless, loud, and all for partying. ^o^ Then to the eccentric and terrifyingly determined/dark mood, and finally onto the idiotic, pathetic, clumsy personality trait ...And then I'll fall back into anti-social, lost in thought me again. -_-"
Online, however, it's mostly another story. I simply am crazy, joke-loving, and an admirer of creative plots. Not too much drastic personality changing there. Don't worry, it' s not like I have a split personality or whatever...
Interests-- My interests span almost limitlessly. I'm a naturally curious person, prizing knowledge of anything and everything. I can often get interested in anything you can think of, if it's presented the right way. Take math, for example. I'll say I hate it and that it's not interesting, but that's because it hasn't been presented the right way for be to really get excited over it. Secretly I enjoy the challenge, I just like to complain. >.< I often have a childlike wonder of the world around me, happy to plunge into new information and ideas. Literature, government, psychology, culture, economy, politics, art, insects, animals, puzzles... You name it, and I can probably find a fascination with it all. Most often you can find me at the library, filling my brain with facts and nonsense I will never use. Exercising and killing my brain cells makes me happy. c:
Hobbies-- For me, hobbies are just an extension of my interests; but only those that I have a particular taste for and allow to take up most of my time. This includes reading, eating, writing, attempting to draw well (D:), learning how to code, being a hypocrite, tracking down the multiple spelling errors in the newspaper (people can't spell in my town D:), memorizing movie quotes, daydreaming, soccer, and trying to find more hobbies. c:
Life-- I live with my dad and my mom, along with our "petting zoo". I have a dog named Honey, a cat named Jill, two tortises named Henrietta and Oscar, twelve chickens and one rooster. Ta-da! :3 I'm an only child, with the exception of step- and half-step- siblings who are all grown up, married, and a few of which even have kids. Like my sister Sheri, and my two nephews, Isaiah and Isaac, and my niece, Isabella. c: So cute; and I'm their aunt! Isaiah is going to be taller than me, though, even if he is eight and I am thirteen. xD Yay, he gets to tease me because I'm shorter and older than he is. Isn't that magical.
I'll add other stuff about me later. For now, I congratulate you on reading all of this and that you should feel free to drop me a line sometime so we can chat. Until then, farewell and remember:
STAY BEAUTIFUL ^-^
