Okay, this is the rules thread. Please read every single last post, and feel free to ask questions! Just note a staff member or post in the help board if you do happen to have any questions. Although, no one can give you the password to the create a cat board. You must find it yourself lol. But I will give you some hints. It's in the main rules post, and it's three words, no spaces. That's all! The first set of rules are the c-box rules.

1. Please be friendly.
2. No cussing or swearing.
3. Please be respectful toward guests and members.
4. No spamming with many posts in a row. Three or four is plenty to get the point across.
5. DON'T ask if the site is active. That you can easily look for by yourself by the chat-box and by the number of people logging in per day.
6. PLEASE don't write in slang. It's very annoying. Examples are, ill c u l8er. That's just retarded. Sorry, but it is. Try to talk in proper English.
7. You may advertise. Just don't say "Ohhh, click on my name, see my website!"

This next set aren't rules, but if you are a medicine cat or a medicine cat apprentice, or hope to be one, please read this so you get the herbs right. If you are none of the above, feel free to skip this step. The next set of rules are the medicine cat herbs.

BORAGE LEAVES
Borage leaves bring down fever, and helps a queen's supply of milk if chewed and eaten. It is very easy to recognize, by it's blue or pink star-shaped flower.

BURDOCK ROOT
A sharp-smelling, tall plant with dark leaves. The medicine cat must dig up the roots, chew them to a pulp, and can be applied to rat bites. It cures infection.

CATNIP
Catnip is very hard to find in the wild, but can often be found along with Twolegs. It is the best remedy for greencough.

CHERVIL
A sweet-smelling plant with large, fern-like leaves and white flowers. The juice of the leaf may be used for infected wounds, and chewing the roots cures a bellyache.

COBWEB
Spiderwebs may be found everywhere. The medicine cats use it to wrap around an injury to soak up the blood, keep the wound clean, and to stop the bleeding.

COLTSFOOT
A flower that looks like a dandelion with yellow or white flowers. The leaves can be chewed into a pulp, which can be eaten by a cat with shortage of breath.

COMFREY
A large-leaved plant and small, bell-shaped flowers, which can either be pink, white, or purple. The roots can be chewed to a pulp and applied to broken bones or wounds to heal them.

DEATHBERRIES
Dark red berries that may kill any cat if eaten since they are poisonous. They aren't healing herbs, and may NOT be used!

DOCK
A plant that is similar to sorrel. The leaf can be chewed then applied to scratches to soothe them.

DRIED OAK LEAF
Collected in leaf-fall, and stops infections.

FEVERFEW
A small bush with flowers like daisies. The leaves can be eaten to bring down body temperature.

HONEY
A sweet, golden liquid, made by bees. It's great for soothing infections or throats for cats that have breathed in smoke.

HORSETAIL
A tall plant with bristly stems that grow in marshy places. The leaves can be used to treat infected wounds. It is usually chewed up and applied as a poultice.

JUNIPER BERRIES
A bush with dark green leaves and bright purple berries. The berries soothe bellyaches and help cats who are having trouble breathing.

LAVENDER
A small purple flower that cures fever.

MARIGOLD
A bright yellow flower that grows close to the ground. The petals or leaves can be chewed to a pulp and applied as a poultice to wounds, also stops infections.

MOUSE BILE
A bad-smelling liquid that is the only remedy for ticks. Dab a little bit moss soaked in it, and the tick will jump off. Wash paws in running water after using.

POPPY SEED
Little black seeds shaken from a dried poppy flower, feed to cats to help them sleep. Soothes cats suffering from shock and distress. Don't feed to nursing queens.

STINGING NETTLE
Spiny green seeds that can be feed to a cat who has been poisoned. The leaves can be applied to a wound to bring down swelling.

TANSY
A strong-smelling plant with round yellow flowers. It's good for curing coughs, but must be eaten in small doses.

THYME
A herb that can be eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves.

WATER MINT
A green plant found in streams or damp places. It is usually chewed into a pulp and then fed to a cat with a bellyache.

WILD GARLIC
Rolling in a patch of wild garlic can help prevent infection, especially rat bites.

YARROW
A plant whose leaves can be made into a poultice and applied to wounds or scratches to expel poison.

Next set of rules are the setting rules. They aren't really rules, but you need to read them so there is no confusion. And I'm also sorry if this gives away any parts of the books that you haven't read, and for that, I apoligize. This is just very important.

The setting takes place in the first book of Omen of the Stars, The Fourth Apprentice. But it takes place in the future from that book, without all of the other books happening... If you can't understand that, feel free to post in the help board or message a staff member... So the battle of ShadowClan and ThunderClan never happened, so ShadowClan still has the clearing. And the tree never fell down on ThunderClan's camp, so please don't mention those things, because they didn't happen, and won't.

Almost done, just a couple more left! Next are the staff member rules and high position rules.

1. If you are a staff member you must be active.
2. You must RP if you are apart of the staff.
3. You must have been on this site for at least two months, unless I give you the okay.
4. You must log in once every two days, unless you posted in the leaving board.
5. Be nice to everyone, member or not.
6. If you break these rules, then you cannot be a staff member (if you are a member and wish to be one) until you make up for what you did wrong, or your staff powers will be taken away if you already are apart of the staff team.

Now are the high position rules.

1. You must log in once every two days, at the least.
2. In case you didn't know, high positions are the leader, deputy, medicine cat, and the medicine cat apprentice.
3. Be nice to everyone, member or not.
4. Please try to attend to all Clan meetings.
5. Staff members may have up to two high positions (but not two leaders, two medicine cats, ect), and regular members may have up to one so many people may have a position, unless given the okay by a staff member.
6. This rule is for everyone who has / wants a high position! If you can't log in once a week, then you'll be warned to have your position stripped. If I have to warn you again, that's it. The third time you'll have to audition for it. The fourth time the position will be taken away from you forever. The sixth time this happens, you cannot have any high position.

Next are the main rules!

This is where you will find the password to the create a cat board. There are three parts, three words. When you find them and put them into the password section for the bio board, don't put any spaces between the words, or capitalize anything!

• For every month that goes by in real life, your cat will age by one moon as well. Please update your bios every one to three months, with a note saying when it was last updated so we all know the current age of your cat. So it will take nine weeks for kittens to be born from the time you post in the having kittens board. And your cat must be at least 11 moons old to become a warrior.
  
  
  
• At Gatherings, you only have to post at least 150 words instead of 250. That is the only place where you can post 150 words; all of the other places won't let you do that.
  
  
  
• There cannot be two of the same first names in a Clan. For example, no Snowpelt and Snowpaw in ThunderClan, no Streamheart and Streambelly in ShadowClan, ect. Once the first name is taken up in a Clan, it cannot be used again until that cat is dead. So in total, there may be four Snow's, four Stream's, ect. One per Clan, basically.
  
  
  
• You may have four Rosepaw's for example, as long as they don't have the same warrior name. There cannot be more than four of the same name at a time, however, which is like the rule above this.
  
  
  
• Must always be warrior cat names! No Bobby, no Princess, no Joe. Just warrior names, even if the name is realistic like Storm or Cliff. No no.
  
  
  
• You must keep ALL of your accounts active! You just can't always log into one every day! If you don't log into every one whenever you get on and keep all accounts active, the inactive accounts WILL get deleted! You must log into all of your accounts once every two days at the least.
  
  
  
• No Tribe cats / have tribe cat history! No having parents / cats who are related to yours that were once Tribe cats / are.
  
  
  
• No odd markings, such as a grey cat with white stripes, a cat that looks like a panda, a cat that looks like a red panda, ect. If you can't find a picture of it without editing it, then it isn't allowed.
  
  
  
• No starting out as a leader, medicine cat, medicine cat apprentice, or a deputy, unless you've gotten written permission from a staff member! And we will most likely say no, sorry.
  
  
  
• If RPing in a thread, you MUST post in order. Yes for: Rosepaw, Yellowheart, Hollowbelly, Rosepaw, Yellowheart, ect. No for: Rosepaw, Rosepaw, Yellowheart, Rosepaw, Yellowheart, Hollowbelly, Yellowheart, Hollowbelly, ect. This is a rule in EVERY thread but Gatherings and Clan meetings, as long as you let everyone get a couple posts in.
  
  
  
• Warrior names can't be like Joepelt, Bobstripe, Billyheart, as those are not something in nature, and your character will be declined. Thumbs up for names like Icepelt, Stormstripe, and Grassheart.
  
  
  
• No having loners or rogues / kittypets.
  
  
  
• No having powers!
  
  
  
• Your display name MUST be the name of your character! MUST! (the first part of the password is peanut)
  
  
  
• No fighting with the staff members, or any other member for that matter.
  
  
  
• No RPing with yourself. You can't just make another account - that is still counts as RPing with yourself.
  
  
  
• You may have more than one thread open at a time, which is called "liquid time."
  
  
  
• NO asking to be a staff member! It gets annoying!
  
  
  
• No saying bad things about any members, that is rude. If one of the staff members find out, you will be punished.
  
  
  
• Only one character per account.
  
  
  
• Only four cats per person. If you want a fifth cat, you must have been on Decoy Dreams for a minimum of three months. If you want a sixth cat it will most likely be five months, a seventh cat for maybe eight months, then we'll have to discuss how many months you have to be active on this site if you want an eighth cat. However! You cannot RP with yourself! If there is a Clan meeting and you have two cats in that Clan, only make one respond!
  
  
  
• Only cat characters are allowed. NO BIG CATS / part big cats! the second part is butter
  
  
  
• No having something that is banned.
  
  
  
• No copying artwork from people, or their posts.
  
  
  
• When breeding / birthing, you don't have to include detail if you don't want to. DON'T make a breeding thread but you must make a birthing one. Also, in a birthing thread, that is where you will name your new kit(s).
  
  
  
• No power-playing or god-modding, meaning don't move another person's cat or make their character speak.
  
  
  
• No killing another character without asking or planning with the other person, or even attacking them. If you're going to be in a fighting thread and aren't sure who should win, ask a staff member and they'll decide according to who is in it (the ages, genders, strength, weakness, ect).
  
  
  
• Your posts must at least be 250 words. If not, you will be notified either in that thread or through message. Anyway, the RP's won't let you post unless you have that amount...
  
  
  
• Don't make your OOC replies very long, but then your real post a sentence or two! Your regular reply must be 250 words at the least.
  
  
  
• Keep the curses at a minimum, please. This is a PG-13 website.
  
  
  
• No cursing at another person, but you may at their character as long as it is in an IC post, not OOC.
  
  
  
• Make your OOC comments in your posts brief. (the last part of the password is rules)

Okay, just almost finished, hold on, you can do it! Next comes the plot.

Loners and rogues have been slowly disappearing over the seasons, until there is none. With so many cats winding up dead, the Clans are starting to wonder what is going on. Then, about four seasons from now, the four leaders of ShadowClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, and WindClan received a dream about cats that were called decoys. Over the moons, they realized that these "decoys" were a threat to all of the Clans... and must be stopped. The decoys are cats in disguise, and could be your leader, your friend... or perhaps even your mate. Although you wouldn't know this - because the decoys are keeping this hidden... until it's too late. The decoy cats are planning to take out the medicine cats first, so that a decoy may take his or her place to read a fake sign of another decoy becoming the leader of the Clan. Then, that is when they go after the deputy and the present leader. Will the four Clans be destroyed forever? Will the decoys get to them? Or will they all survive this havoc? It's up for you to decide!

This is the last one! Now it's the banned list. Below the banned list is the unbanned list.

1. Rogues / loners / kittypets are on ban. They always will be, so don't ask.
2. Kittypet parents and Tribe parents will always be on ban, so don't ask.


1. Half-Clan cats are unbanned.
2. Orange she-cats are unbanned.
3. Calico toms are on unbanned.
4. Mates from other Clans is unbanned.
5. Different Clan Breeding is unbanned.
6. Former rogue / kittypet / loner is unbanned.
7. Former rogue / kittypet / loner parent(s) is unbanned.
