Wandering Souls is a literate Soul Eater roleplay forum with a minimum word count of 300.
It's been three years since the gang has defeated the kishin Asura. Life was taken back to normal, collecting souls and forming partnerships.
Witches have stayed out of sight or undercover, a few causing trouble. Minor kishin eggs started feasting on a few unlucky souls. But have quickly been stopped. Immortals have seen roaming around; having a mutual relationship with the D.W.M.A. Even more magical animals have been spotted, flourishing Death City's population.
But ever since after the battle, an unnerving aurora has settled down into the souls of the ones in the Soul Eater world, and each day it rises. It causes those souls to question themselves, and makes them an easier target for the madness. It causes those to think, sometime becoming lost in thought, pondering about life.
Cases reported from missions saying that people are found "wandering", as though being drawn to something. Most of the victims are civilians, but it could be anyone from a witch to a weapon. They are hypnotized, some more than others, and seem to have lost touch with their roots. "Wanderers" as they've been dubbed, gather near the Blight. Could there be an evil force that lurks about?
