[the lives they had]
Peacful blue oceans and lush green pastures just full of large game. Snow capped mountains and dazzling caves. Life was simple, the wolves lived happy lives playing in the sunshine and hunting for their packs :: Large cities, green fields, or steeps hills. The dogs came from many different parts of the world. Loyal to their masters they followed obediently, or reluctantly. They came to the island and for a while every thing made sense
[but nothing is ever that simple]
At first the wolves were fine with their new visitors, as long as they stayed with their humans in the city. They would simply have to deal with it for right now. :: All was peaceful. The human’s city was a success, but then something unexpected happened. A devestating disease struck the island. Humans began to die off and the dogs could tell that they were worried.

The humans left them behind in their frenzy to quarantine the island from the rest of the world. Some of the dogs weren’t sure what to do, while others knew exactly how to survive with out their owners. Their instincts kicked in and they survived for a time.
[but it wasn’t enough]
They knew that they had to explore the seemingly untamed wilderness and who knows what may lie with in it. :: The dogs had stepped into the wolves’ territory. They didn’t know who they were dealing with. They would not simply sit back like pups and let the dogs take it. There would be war.
