Harmonypaw I got this crazy feeling deep inside When you called and asked to see me tomorrow night Her body shook with excitement and anticipation as she slipped from camp. She felt like a rebel drifting from camp like a shadow, letting her pelt cover her in the thick undergrowth of Thunderclan. The she-cat moved from shadow to shadow, flitting away from camp, staying out of the moonlight. She glanced skyward noting the position of the moon. It was crawling toward moon high and hear heart leapt. It was almost time. She was running late. Finchpaw wouldbe to the clearing before her she was sure. She picked up he pace loping through the woods drawing close to the Shadowclan border and stoping, her toes on the edge. She took a breath and let the scent wash over her tongue and a new wave of anxiety and excitement rushed over her. what if he's forgotten? She thought to herself her heart pounding. What if I'm found? Her mind raced with questions and concerns. Fear erupted from her chest and flew through her muscles freezing them in their current position. Her eyes flew wide and she dropped into a crouch. Her shoulders hunched and she cowered on the border for a moment her ears pricked.
She didn't hear anything and slowly, ever so slowly her heart slowed down and her breathing became normal. She flicked her tail and let her mind drift back. It drifted, carrying her away to an earlier meeting. She closed her eyes and felt his pelt brush hers and the longing that erupted in her soul, deep in her heart. Like a fire burning in her chest she felt a well of desire, and anticipation spring up in her soul and blaze within her. She leaped forward over the border and raced along the directions from Finchpaw burning in her mind. "just follow the stream from your territory, into mine. Just keep to the left, then you might not even have to cross it." She turned her eyes finding the stream and racing beside it, twisting and bending with as little effort as the wind over the moors. She slid to a stop as the clearing came into view. Her eyes flashing and dancing with excitement and fear.
She looked around the clearing wondering where Finchpaw was, and when he would get there. She glanced at the sky and smiled to herself. She was late, but he was later. She stood on her tip toes, trying to see where He would come from. Her eyes blazed with desire and suspense. She kneaded the ground with her claws and tore at the grass waiting. I'm going to tackle him when he get's his tail here, furball. She thought to herself and her eyes flashed with attraction for Finchpaw. And the suspense that she felt while she waited was almost overwhelming and she took a deep breath trying to calm herself. I'm not a mind reader but I'm reading the signs That you can't wait to see me again (Lyrics Credit to "See You Again" by Mylie Cuyrus)

F I N C H P A W , The moon was reaching it's peak before Finchpaw's senses let him out of his dozing state. He had not meant to sleep, not even a little. Yet weary body had won over the determined mind, though he had only slept to the lightest degree; every fiber of him aware that the special meeting was occurring tonight. He could not afford to miss it. His eyes were now wide and alert; possible danger was to come, and adrenalin surged through his body. He could not afford to be caught, just as much as he could not afford to let her down. Every move he made, from his breathing, to his pawsteps, sounded ten times as loud as normal. He took a shuddering breath, forcing his trembling to subside. From fear and frustration, he had begun to do so, but now he was more under control again. Glancing around at his sleeping clanmates for what would be the last time that night, if all went well, he crept out of the den. His paws nudged a body, and he froze, his heart beating so loudly to his own senses that he felt a sense of defeat; he had barely made it two pawsteps. Now, it was all over. However, the worst case scenario did not occur, for the cat seemed not to react to his light touch. His heart still beating somewhere around his throat, he continued his creeping movements.
Now outside, he allowed himself a deep, shuddering breath, feeling new relief and energy course through him. He was well on his way. Now he was faced with an added pressure; timing. The moon was moving faster than he would have liked, though in reality, it was no different to any other night. The young cat padded along at a faster pace now, no longer taking such heed with his pawsteps. He felt he could afford to hurry a little more, now that he was carrying himself through the forest. His tail had begun to twitch, almost uncontrollably; a sure sign that he was exciting beyond belief. The stream had not yet come into view, and a new surge of worry came with this realization. In the darkness, had he missed the turn off? The fact that he had not yet heard the trickle of the water was the thing that, overall, took that worry away. Though his eyesight may have been temporarily impaired by the black night, his hearing would not have. He was sure of that. It seemed everything fell into place, after that moment of panic; the stream, the quick walk through the thick pines, the approach of the clearing.
And then he saw her. 'Harmonypaw. .' he mewed, though under his breath. Eyes now flashing, he walked over to her, a deep purr welling from within his chest; something he could just not help. 'I'm so sorry I'm late, Harmonypaw,' he mewed, a loud sigh issuing with the statement. He began to gaze into her eyes, seeing the excitement that was so prominent there, but also another emotion, which caused a frown to flicker onto his face, briefly. Was she having doubts? He had little time to think about this, as they had limited time themselves. 'I - I'm glad to see you again.' He felt heat rise to his cheeks as he spoke. Did she feel the same way? He could not know for certain, even if she expressed the same viewpoint, in return. Though that was his negative side talking. He gazed at her once more, finally making a move to sit down, tail curled neatly around his paws. Why was it so difficult to find conversation?

Harmonypaw We were both young when I first saw you I close my eyes And the flashback starts She looked around her eyes flashing as the sound off pawsteps reached her ears. Her fur bristled, and she dug her claws deep into the ground, but before she could make to hide she saw him, and her heart skipped a beat. She quickly tried to flatten her fur and her hazel eyes filled with joy and she lifted her tail waving a greeting to him as he came to halt before her, and he spoke. The words were so formal to her they didn't seem to have any remembrance of their last parting, yet he'd come hadn't he? He'd shown up and that must mean that he felt for her what she did for him. She smiled lightly her eyes dancing in the moonlight and her tortoiseshell fur shimmering like starlight. "I'm glad to see you too." She said and watched him sit down before moving toward him slowly. She placed one paw in front of the other, walking in a delicate straight line, elegantly floating over the ground in such a way that seemed both heartbreakingly fast, and mind-numbingly slow.
She paused before him her eyes locking into his and filled with admiration that he'd come and appreciation that he was sorry he was late. He spoke her name, as he apologized and she smiled lightly reaching up with her tail to cuff his ears and murmuring, "Furball" before purring and taking half a step back to gaze at him, drink in his form, as though she'd never seen anything so handsome before. She smiled, and then a thought occurred to her. She glanced nervously over his shoulder and spoke her words soft but etched with concern as she glanced over his shoulder a look of apprehension crossing her face. "You didn't have trouble getting away?" She asked, her mind wandering back now on the sound of her name coming from his lips. It seemed to calm her to do so. It had stirred something in her that she hadn't realized. It was like hearing her name spoken by they wind, but it was more than that. His voice speaking it gave her a feeling in the pit of her being, something she hadn't really experienced before, and before she realized what she was doing she stepped forward again ducking her head.
She slid her head under his chin purring louder than a monster, and closing her eyes drinking in his scent. It seemed like it had been so long since they first met but she knew that it had been less than a moon. She pressed her head against Finchpaws chin and breathed in his scent again before whispering, "I thought about you everyday." She let her voice trail off hoping that he would reply, that he too had had sleepless nights thinking of her, or that he'd dreamed of her, missed her. She smiled before pulling her head back slowly from under his head and looking up into his eyes, her own hazel ones flashing with longing, and slight sadness, for even though she was happy to be with him now, she knew that in a short matter of time she would be forced to leave his side again, and that pained her. She continued to stare into his eyes for another heartbeat before looking away and up at the moon and stars. "It's such a clear night." She said watching her breath rise from her mouth and disappear on the wind. She shivered at the wind from behind them, as it blew her coat the wrong way, and sank quickly into her fur and pierced her skin like a hundred tiny claws digging into her spine.
