appearance:
history: Rosepaw was born in a group of two kits. She came first and her sister was the last. They grew up never leaving each other's side. They would play and laugh together with their mother tagging along behind. It was a happy life for the two of them. Happy until the one terrible day that was the last time that they were still together.
Obviously their father wanted their mother to die. And so, he came after them. He found the sisters chasing each other in a large field. Their mother consumed a rabbit not far away from them in the shadow of the trees. The large, black tom moved quietly through the shadows, making his way to wards the mother of Rosepaw and her sister. Several long moments passed. The kits continued playing and their mother continued to keep an eye out for predators. Little did she know, though, that the biggest predator that she would ever know was standing less than twenty feet away.
The dark figure moved silently amongst the trees, closing in on his target. Twenty feet. Fifteen feet. Ten- CRACK! The snap of a twig gave him away. The sisters and their mom bolted off, leaving their father and ex-mate in the dust. He was lucky, though, because not long after the girls and their mother fled the meadow, there was a cougar attack. The cougar had been looking for some easy prey, and the fillies and their mother were the perfect meal. The cougar decided to kill the mother first, for the kits would come back to her, looking for shelter.
The three ran along, sprinting past the cougar's tree. As soon as they had past his tree, the cougar leapt. He landed directly on the mother's back, startling her and bringing her to the ground. She struggled for only a minute more before screaming out to her babies, telling them to run. The sisters, who had stopped running, wanting their mother to get up and come with them, took one last glance at her and then they took off. They knew later, that that had been the death of their mother.
The sisters wandered alone for some time after that, trying to find their clan's camp. They needed shelter, and they needed protection. As they were walking along the side of a mountain, though, the land began to cave in. A few seconds later, Rosepaw turned around, and her sister was nowhere to be seen. These events have scarred her for life, and even though she tries to hide it, she always feels some pain at the knowledge that her mother is dead and her sister could be dead. With this knowledge, she returned to her clan, Windclan, to resume her life as a clan cat.

The mare let her blue eyes drift over him, examining the form of the beast. He would never go away. She knew that, now. He would always be there, watching her. The only thing she didn't understand was why he would do such a thing. Why would he follow her around? Her life truly couldn't be that interesting to watch from afar. Honestly, she didn't have much in her life. She walked around, looking for a nice place to rest, sometimes watching the water run through rivers and such. Could that really be entertaining to watch? Surely not. Perhaps he was just waiting for the right time when he would, again, attack her smaller bodice and leave his marks on her. Once more, leaving her bloodied and then eventually, scarred. Would he truly do that to her? Was this the moment that she had feared for so long? Would she get more scars today, or would she be left as a lifeless form on the bank of the river?
Jescha's heartbeat sped up at the thought, but she continued to mask her face, hiding her fear from him. Surely that was all he wanted to see from her. Fear of him. Then again, she still wasn't sure why he was here, so she couldn't say quite yet what he wanted, but she would know soon. Her eyes drifted over his form once more before settling on his face. His eyes, blue and cold, bore deep into her body. They bore into her soul, and she almost couldn't bare looking at them, but she didn't look away. She had to remain strong. And then something flashed in his eyes. Hurt? Could it have been pain? No. He couldn't have possibly been moved by her words. His smile had remained, too, so he couldn't have possibly been hurt. Even if he had, he surely wouldn't have let it show. Maybe I am. He spoke those three words and then paused, and Jescha stared up at him, waiting. You know, a disgusting creature. His disgusting smile grew larger, and he took a step closer to her, forcing her to look away, bending her neck so that her face was no where near his, and her full ear was swiveled towards him. But that would make you the obsession of a disgusting creature.
Jescha practically flinched at his words, her eyes focused on the ground as her ears flattened fully against her head. No. It couldn't be. This couldn't be real. It had to be a dream... A nightmare... He couldn't truly be obsessing over her. He had let her live, but still... That didn't mean... But he had said it... She was truly frightened now. What did this mean for her? "Ob-Obsession?" She stuttered out, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't... Understand..." She glanced over at him out of the corner of her eye, still trying to hide her fear, but not doing as great as she was. Quite frankly, she was more confused than she was afraid, but her fear was showing more. "So... You're not going to hurt me...? Or kill me...?" She asked, her voice still low. She wanted him to explain what this meant for her. Was he claiming her? What would that mean for Kes? Questions were floating through her mind so fast that she only had a few seconds to think about them before the next one popped up. She wanted him to explain everything. She wanted to know what this meant for her future... For her life.
