[/i] it was. At that, Thunderbook made a mental note to herself: drag Snowpaw on more dawn patrols. Now, though, it was time to begin the real training. Snowpaw's first battle-moves lesson. She could remember just how giddy she had been, back when she too was an apprentice. In fact, she was getting a bit excited herself--eager to show off some of her moves to the snowy white apprentice. After the patrol, Thunderbrook had given Snowpaw a bit of a break. A little time for him to settle down, eat a good meal, and prepare for the day ahead of him. Hesitantly, she'd taken a small frog from the pile, quickly eating it up and was soon ready to go. Snowpaw, however, wasn't quite ready this fast. He'd gotten distracted chatting with his brother and soon enough the deputy had to intervene yet again, dragging off the white fluffball out and into Shadowclan territory. The two were headed up and towards the farthest point from the camp, way up by the greenleaf twoleg place. Now that it was leaf-fall, most of the smelly twolegs had left the area, leaving only a clearing in their wake. A perfect place to train. Are you ready to start you first day of battle training, Snowpaw?" She asked, swooshing her tail to the side as they stepped into the clearning. There was no response from the white apprentice. "... Snowpaw?" She tried again, flipping around to look for the tom. "Where did you go this time?" She grumbled, tail lowering as she began to backtrack a little bit. He'd gotten so distracted on the way up here that she wouldn't have been surprised if he'd gotten himself lost...again. [/ul] [/size]

“Leaves, leaves, leaves!”Cheerful and delighted meows filled the border of the forest. The bright orange surroundings gave off a happy vibe, spreading joy to anyone who manages to observe the magnificent view. Snowpaw bounced across the leaf-filled undergrowth and playfully crunched the brittle leaf-fall leaves. He was supposed to follow Thunderbrook to her chosen training spot but then, the white apprentice was distracted by the bunch of crisp orange leaves waiting for him to pounce and break all of them. Now that the simple-minded apprentice forgot where they were supposed to go, he opted playing with the humble gifts of the forest instead of wandering the forest aimlessly. Snowpaw had been up as early as dawn this day, even earlier than his brother’s waking time. Their deputy decided to let him join the earliest, and probably the most tiring, patrol of the day. Although Thunderbrook decided to give him a break, it was only enough for Snowpaw to finish his mouse. He didn’t even have a chance to visit Redpaw back at the medicine cat’s den or chase kits in the nursery. Before he knew it, he was with their deputy, trekking across their territory with the goal of training battle moves till he learns them. "Leaf!"A breeze of wind coming from the west suddenly carried the leaf that Snowpaw was concentrating on away from the place he was playing at. The white apprentice decided to chase after it, seeing how tempting for a young cat like him to pounce on it. It didn’t take too long for the apprentice to reach it and as he bunched his shoulders and readied to spring, he pounced on the leaf, crushing it flat and tearing it to pieces. Snowpaw stopped as he scented a familiar scent. Thunderbrook!“I’m glad that I saw you! I thought I lost you for sure.”
